We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager - This role can be located in Allegan, MI or Charlottesville, VA

Champion for Perrigo Consumer Healthcare digital marketing and e-commerce programs internally and externally. Responsible for driving Store Brand share by creating and executing digital marketing programs in the areas of: e-commerce, online advertising, mobile advertising, digital customer care, social media and social listening. Defines Perrigo’s digital marketing strategy and translates it into action in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales & Customers. Leads the development of ‘test and learn’ programs with key customers to extract learnings, shares insights and optimize programs which drive growth. Continually learns about emerging trends, educates colleagues / customers and advocates for intelligent use of digital marketing.

  • Develop and manage all aspects of digital marketing campaigns

  • Use digital advertising grow online and in-store sales; continually measure results to optimize spend vs. sales lift

  • Develop and refine e-commerce web content in collaboration with copy writer and other marketing colleagues

  • Execute programs designed to enhance online ratings and reviews

  • Develop digital customer care programs in collaboration with Perrigo’s in house call center

  • Train and work as a certified administrator on Perrigo’s corporate social listening platform to perform social media listening / analysis and predictive analytics / key customer insights

  • Manage legal and compliance surrounding web content, advertising campaigns and consumer reviews

  • Develop and pilot new programs as new technologies and opportunities emerge

  • In-house expert and evangelist for all things digital

  • Develops presentation materials and works closely with Sales to assist with the selling of new initiatives to our customers

  • Assist in the writing and editing of copy and content for all social media, advertisements, marketing collateral, websites, scripts, presentations, video, multi-media and other marketing communications for Perrigo customers

  • Develops digital marketing materials and works closely with promotional team to develop programs to support the launch of new products

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or relevant discipline; MBA a plus

  • Six plus years of professional experience in the marketing / communications field, in agency, pharmaceutical or CPG industry

  • Knowledge and experience in e-commerce, digital media and related technologies and platforms

  • Focused on data-driven marketing: where data, technology and creativity meet

  • Strong analytical skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis, draw conclusions and drive action based on multiple sources of data. Must be able to use data to influence.

  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on strong writing and presentation skills

  • Applies ‘lessons learned’ and continuously improves the process through which work is developed and results are achieved

  • High degree of Digital Marketing savvy, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital and media trends

  • Stays up to date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies

  • Exercises good judgement to evaluate and recommend emerging technologies worthy of pilot programs

  • Experience handling marketing budgets and managing multiple external agency relationships

  • Strong technical skills and ability to work with multiple technologies and platforms at an ‘administrator’ level

  • Ability to collaborate with a wide variety of teams, including: sales, marketing, regulatory and customers

  • Acts as an independent self-starter and anticipates steps to properly execute projects

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
